iKlax Media is a software company based on innovative digital audio technology: the iKlax.
The iKlax interactive audio format adds value to music, allowing artists, professionals and amateurs to offer the whole spectrum of their creativity to active public listeners.
Founded in early 2008 by Owen Lagadec, iKlax Media’s home is at the heart of south west France’s Izarbel technopole, Basque Country innovation and high-tech centre along with companies like Siemens, Robosoft or MaxSea.
Innovation, expertise, design, ergonomics, accessibility and artist’s respect are the keywords of this young start-up. It is being recognised as one of the French ‘Innovations of the Year’ on the international scene.
This ambitious project started in 2004 required 9 computers, 334 paper reams, 1,700 paper clips and almost 25,000 litres of coffee. Furthermore, it benefits from the support of leading innovation teams.
